Urk-based VCU has confirmed a contract for the two trawlers to be built for the Lockers Trawlers/UK Fisheries partnership to be outfitted with VCU’s processing and catch management systems.
The VCU CatchProcessing System covers the entire process from the catch being brought on board, through sorting and handling, to storage in the fishroom, and this is optimised for speed, precision and quality.
VCU’s UK dealer Woodsons has also secured installation of complete VCU CatchManagement Systems for both vessels. This incorporates weighing systems for the fishroom of both vessels, with CM PRO Marine Sample Scales for direct weighing and sorting at the grading belt.
