Redox AS, a supplier of oxygen and water-treatment solutions to the Norwegian aquaculture sector, has entered into an agreement to acquire its industry peer Trykkluftservice AS.
Established in 1980, Trykkluftservice AS is the most experienced provider of compressors and compressed air systems in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The company has delivered more than 750 compressor installations. It will continue operating as a separate entity, led by Jan Atle Yndestad. All eight employees will continue with the company.
The acquisition provides customers of both companies access to a broader service offering, shorter response times, and increased expertise in oxygen systems, vacuum systems, and compressed air solutions. The companies serve both the aquaculture industry and land-based industries.

The acquisition gives Redox a physical presence in the Sunnmøre region on the West coast of Norway, in addition to its existing locations at the Nordmøre region and in Trøndelag county. This means shorter distances to customers, faster service, and a larger team of experienced technicians.
Trykkluftservice retains its position and strong local roots. Customers will meet the same people and receive the same high-quality service but will now have access to an expanded range of offerings, including oxygen and nitrogen systems, cleaning systems, and advanced treatment solutions based on ozone and UV technologies.
