Visitor registration for the Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 is now open, and it’s the way to beat the queues on the day.
The event has been held in Aberdeen since 2011, and is back this year following a break of one year after the decision was taken to run the exhibition every second year. This makes the 2026 expo the first to take place on this biennial basis.
‘The Scottish Skipper Expo has since 2011 played an important role in bringing the fishing industry together,’ said The Skipper’s commercial fishing manager Sharon Boyle.

‘Now running every two years, it is vital that the sector continues to come out and support its own show. With strong backing from our sponsors, a high level of exhibitor commitment, and a broad range of companies and vessels confirmed, the 2026 event is shaping up to be a valuable and worthwhile occasion for everyone involved.’
She commented that the event is supported by the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation and Peterhead Port Authority, whose continued backing reflects the show’s long-standing role in supporting and promoting the commercial fishing sector.
More than 140 companies are already confirmed to exhibit, presenting a comprehensive range of products, services and solutions relevant to modern fishing operations. In addition, seven vessels will be on display, offering visitors the opportunity to view new builds from our leading inshore boat builders.
As part of the programme, the popular Scottish Skipper Expo Show Reception will return to the Douglas Hotel on Thursday evening with doors opening at 7pm, providing exhibitors and their guests with a welcome opportunity to meet informally, strengthen existing relationships, and make new connections within the industry.
