The Royal Greenland annual report has been approved, the company is moving in the right direction, was the message as the company’s AGM brought together owners, staff and stakeholders at its headquarters in Nuuk.

‘Naalakkersuisut is pleased that the company is moving in the right direction. The hard work of recent years to restore and strengthen the business is beginning to deliver results, demonstrating an organisation capable of coming together and delivering. That is positive. At the same time, Naalakkersuisut is clear that we have not yet reached our goal, and that the positive momentum must be maintained and strengthened in the years ahead,’ said Naalakkersuisut chairman Jens-Frederik Nielsen.
The Royal Greeenland chairman’s report was presented by vice-chairman Preben Sunke on behalf of chairman Niels Thomsen.
‘Operating profit amounted to DKK299 million, which is a significant improvement compared to the previous year. At the same time, we achieved an EBIT margin of 6.2%, already exceeding our strategic target for 2027. This shows that the direction we set after several very challenging years is beginning to take effect,’ he said, stressing that Royal Greenland is still in the midst of a development phase where focus, discipline and consistency are crucial.
The Annual General Meeting also resulted in changes to the board. Karsten Høy and Arnanguaq Holm Olsen stepped down, while Juliane Henningsen Heilmann and Morten Petersen joined as new members.
In addition, Miki Brandt, Niels Ole Møller and Susanne Marie Olsen were elected as staff representatives, while Sara Biilmann Egede and Johan Bertelsen stepped down.
