Fiskevegn and Mustad Autoline, both internationally recognised names in the longline industry, have agreed to strengthen their co-operation. This follows the purchase of Vetrhus Holding AS (now Mustad Sealine AS) earlier this year by Mustad Autoline, through which Mustad Autoline acquired 50% of the shares in Fiskevegn.

Rolls-Royce has announced that it has signed an agreement to sell its commercial marine business to Kongsberg. Rolls-Royce’s marine sector has around 3600 staff, based mainly in the Nordic region, while Kongsberg is active in oil and gas, merchant shipping, defence and aerospace sectors.

Norwegian salmon producer Alsaker Fjordbruk at Onarheim has contracted a new live fish carrier with a design package provided by Salt Ship Design. The vessel will be built by Astilleros de Murueta in Spain and will be delivered in 2020.
