On the first market of the week Monday October 11th Ten trawlers landed a total of 2386 boxes of white fish with Cod large selling at £2.60-£3.20, Medium £2.50-£2.80, Haddock Large £1.80-£2.00-Medium £1.80-£2.10, Lemon Sole £ £1.00-£5.00, Monkfish £3.80-£4.20, Megrim £2.00-£5.50, Place 60p-£1.00, Hake £1.00-£3.00, Witches £1.00-£3.00 and Ling £1.60-£2.00.
Trawlers landed Celestial Dawn, Sagittarius, Strathelliot, Rosebloom, Boy John, Zenith, Fear Nor (PD) Valhalla, Our Guide, and Radiance.
The following market day Tuesday Five trawlers landed a total of 3704 boxes of white fish which sold for the following Haddock Large £2.00-£2.40, medium £2.00-£2.30, Cod Large £2.50-£3.20, Medium £2.50-£2.70, Whiting £1.60-£2.00, Lemon Sole £1.00-£4.00, Monkfish £3.50-£4.20, Coley £1.20-£1.60, Megrims £2.50-£6.00, Plaice 60p-£1.00, Ling £1.50,-£1.90, Hake £2.00-£3.00, Witches £1.50-£3.00.
Boats landed Viking Monarch, Starlight, Starlight Rays, Renown, and Amity.
On Wednesday’s market six trawlers landed a total of 2026 boxes of white fish which sold at Large Cod £2.80-£3.80, Medium £2.80-£3.80 NO Haddock sold, Whiting £1.80-£2.00, Lemon Sole £1.50-£6.00, Coley £1.20-£1.60, Plaice 70p-£1.50, Witches £1.00-£2.00, Hake £1.50-£3.00, and ling £1.50-£2.00.
Trawlers landed Nordfjordr, Helenus, Maimai, Allegiance, Kararra, and Morning Star.
The following day’s market Thursday thirteen boats landed a total of 4334 boxes of white fish which sold at the following. Cod Large £2.70-£3.50, Medium £2.60-£3.40, Haddock large £2.20-£2.90, Medium £2.00-£2.50, Lemon Sole £1.00-£5.00, Whiting £1.60-£1.80, Monkfish £3.50-£4.20, Coley £1.20-£1.50, Megrim £2.00-£5.50, Witches £1.00-£2.00, Hake £1.50-£3.00 Plaice £1.00-£2.00 and Ling £1.50-£2.00.

The last market of the week Friday saw Fifteen trawlers landed a total of 4277 boxes of white fish which sold for the following, Cod Large £2.70-£3.30, Medium £2.50-£3.00, Haddock Large £1.80-£2.20, Medium £1.80-£2.00, Whiting £1.50-£1.70, Lemon Sole £1.00-£4.00, Coley £1.10-£1.30, Monkfish £3.50-£4.00, Megrims £2.50-£7.00, Plaice £1.00-£1.50, Hake £1.00-£2.50, Witches £1.00-£2.00 and Ling £1.40-£1.60.
Trawlers landed Phoenix, Falcon, Russa Teign, Heather Sprig, Sagittarius, Opportunus, Castlewood, Attain, Fruitful Bough, Golden Splendour, Moremma, Rosemount, Arcturis and Favonius.
Landings at Peterhead for the week were 49 vessels landing a total of 16,727 boxes of white fish. There wre also 12 pelagic landings of mackerel
At Ullapool there was a quite week with one Scottish crabber landing 15 tonnes of brown crab and a Spanish trawler landing 22 tonnes of white fish.
At Buckle Harbour 17 boats landed 437 boxes of white fish, prawns and squid plus 192 bags of clams which all sold for fair prices.
At Pittenweem harbour (Fife) there was good prawn fishing and good landings of prawns, lobsters and crabs which all sold for fair prices.
