Spanish electronics supplier Nautical has appointed Carmelo Zabala as its new managing director with immediate effect.
Carmelo Zabala graduated in Nautical and Maritime Transport from the University of La Coruña. After a fourteen-year career in tankers (VLCC, LPG, and chemical) as first officer, he then joined Nautical branch in Ecuador in 2001 as their sales manager for the Americas.
He subsequently became Nautical’s commercial director before taking over the managing director’s role.
His appointment will allow Nautical to continue promoting its activity in the market, to strengthen its relationships with both customers and manufacturers, to offer technical and innovative navigational solutions to support the fishing industry, and to globalise further, in order to continue growing the company’s international presence in line with its customers’ needs and expectations.
