A range of fish boxes from Dolav will be on display at the Brussels Seafood Exposition later this month.
New at the show is the 540mm high Dolav box on a 1200 x 1000mm base. Like the 740mm high winchable Dolav Ace, all Dolav pallet boxes have solid or perforated HDPE walls and bases. When empty, they can be manually moved by just one person with minimal effort. Also new is the equally hygienic, easily cleanable robust and durable, Dolav perforated plastic pallet. It is 1200 x 800mm with a 1200 x 1000mm size due soon. New as well are two long Dolav boxes with 1750 x 1000mm and 1870 x 800mm dimensions. Both are 740mm high and can handle long fish.
Ideally suited to high-speed cool chains, the Dolav box range saves weight and cost. Their robust one-piece, moulded-in runners and HDPE construction is ideal without insulation. That speeds up cooling, helps increase payload and improves hygiene-excellence by making inner-wall contamination impossible.
Winchable and stackable, Dolav Ace boxes fitted with drain plugs have been selected by a major, UK-based, fish processing plant operating around the clock, the winchable Ace adds to its proven use for forklift stacking, moving and tip-out emptying. At 740mm high the Ace takes 620 litres, 900kg to a maximum of 5000kg and has an empty weight of 38 kg.
‘Our Dolav boxes have been developed for fish processing and handling fish, fish product and fish by-product,’ said Addy Bleijs, business development manager at Dolav Benelux said. ‘They are widely used for fish processing, transport and storage so we are exhibiting for the third time at Seafood Expo to meet existing and new customers.”
