Russian Fishing Company (RFC) has made available a variety of Alaska pollock products – fillets, minced fish and fish fingers – under its Nordeco brand that are now available to consumers at the Lenta and Redcaviar hypermarket chain.
‘We are taking the first confident steps in the B2C market,’ said RFC CEO Fedor Kirsanov.
‘RFC provides high quality products thanks to modern technologies for the production of single frozen products. The first buyers have already appreciated our product, I am sure that it will be in demand by Russian consumers.’
Nordeco products are also available in Caviar and Fish retail outlets in St. Petersburg and SAMBERI in the Russian Far East, where sales started this spring.
In addition, Russian federal and local retail chains and stores sell products under RFC’s and Agama Group’s joint Agama-Nordeco brand.
This is a range of pollock fillets and fillet portion in individual packaging. Like Nordeco products, the co-brand line is made from single-frozen pollock without defrosting during processing.
