The high level of landings resulted in lower to good prices. Those included all the largest size of Cod at £2 per kg with large haddock being sold at £102-£115 per 57 Kg box and whiting at £57-£85 per 57kg box.
On Monday 15 trawlers landed 5,603 boxes, with large Cod selling at £1.60-£2.50, medium at £1.60-£2. Haddock large, £1.80-£2, medium £1.20-£2.whiting £1-£1-50, megim £3-£3.50, Monkfish £3-£3.80, plaice 70p-£1.20.
Trawlers landed, Denbula, Adorne, Karenann, Daisy, Golden Splendour, Fear Not 11, Celestial Dawn, Karmarra, Ocean Reward, Prospect Content, Aurelia, Shalimar, Starlight Rays, Russia Teign and P&J Johnstone.
The follow day Tuesday nine trawlers landed a total of 4, 377 boxes with prices similar to the previous day. Cod large sold £2.30-£3, medium £2.20-£2.70, Haddock large £1-80-£2.20, medium £1.60-£2.20. Whiting £1.20-£1.50, Monkfish £2.50-£4, megrim £2-£6, Coley,£1-£1.20, Hake £1.50-£2.50 and ling £1.60-£1.90.
Trawlers landed Content, Our Lass, Fairline, Ryanwood, Helenus, Shalimar, Sunrise, Nordfjordr, Rosemount.
Wednesday saw six boats land a total f 4,406 boxes with large cod selling at £2-£2.60, medium £1.80-£2, Haddock large £2-£2.20, medium £32.£2-20, whiting £1.20-£1.50, megrim £2-£7, Coley £1.-£1.10, Monkfish £3-£3.80, Lemon Sole £1.-£1.30 and hake £1.-£2.
Boats landed, Summer Dawn, Golden Gain, Starlight, Nordfjordr, Helenus and Genesis.
The following day Thursday saw six trawlers land a total of 3,133 boxes with sold at Large Cod £2.-£2.60, medium, £2.-£2.20, haddock large £2.-£2.20 medium £2.-£2-20 Monkfish £3.-£3.80, Hake £2.-£3, Megrim £1.-£5, Coley £1.-£1.10, whiting £1.-£1.50 and ling £1.30-£1.80
Trawlers landed Budding Rose, Lapwing, Ocean Dawn, Achieve, Caspain and Courageous.
The last day of the week Friday saw 10 trawlers land 4,016 boxes with Cod large selling at £2.40-£2.90, medium ££2-£2.50, Haddock large £1.80-£2.20, medium £1.40-£2., whiting £3.20-£1.50, Monkfish £3-£4, megrim ££2.60-£6.50, Hake £1.-£2, Coley £1.-£1-50, ling £1.50-£1.80.
Boats landed Vela, Sustain, Morning Star, Boy Andrew, Budding Rose, Constant Friend, Castlewood, Amity, Lapwing, and Attain.
45 trawlers landed a total of 21, 535 boxes of whitefish over the past week at Peterhead with two Pelagic landings of herring.
At Fraserburgh 85 trawlers landed a total of 3,632 boxes of white fish last week. and at Buckie harbour nine boats landed with a total 178 boxes of white fish. prawns and squid plus 385 of clamd boats landed Intrepid, Loyal Friend.
At Scrabster harbor 15 vessels landed 6,443 boxes of white fish over the week with fairly good prices reported.
