Two new crabbers built for the Russian Crab Group have completed sea trials ahead of delivery.

Factory vessel Kapitan Skovpen has been built at the Oka shipyard and sea trials were conducted around Gogland in the Baltic.
This is the final vessel in a series of three crabbing vessels with processing and freezing capacity on board. The first two, Kapitan Manzholin and Kapitan Dudnik, are already in service.
A second vessel, this time a vivier crabber designed to deliver live catches, has also finished its sea trials in the Baltic. Kapitan Firsov has been built at the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant. The same yard has already delivered Kapitan Aleksandrov and Kapitan Egorov to the Russian Crab Group.
These Damen-designed vessels have a 57.70-metre overall length with a 12.60-metre breadth and a 1620kW main engine. Accommodation is for up to 24 persons.
The 440 cubic metres of vivier capacity are sufficient to keep over a hundred tonnes of live crab in good condition.
