Vónin’s sales force was boosted on the first of September as Frederik Hansen joined the company, taking responsibility for sales of pelagic fishing gear with Jógvan S. Jacobsen.
Frederik comes to the company from a position as purchase manager at Faroese aquaculture giant Bakkafrost, and he has an extensive marine background, having trained as a ship’s officer. He has experience of working on both offshore and trawlers, and was also a sales manager at Faroe Ship.
‘We are very happy to have Frederik on board. We believe that he can bring experience and expertise of great value to the company and are we looking forward to our co-operation with him,’ said Vónin’s sales and marketing manager Bogi Nón.
