R&D Manager Hans Otto Sørensen expects TripleNine’s products to be IFFO certified within a couple of months.
In early March, the entire company’s management system was re-certified without any major problems. At the same time, an application was made for MSC-COC certification, which relates to traceability.
– We have to demonstrate that we are able to trace fishmeal and fish oil right back to the raw material, explains Hans Otto Sørensen. – We are actually able to do so and just need to sort out some formal issues.
– When we receive IFFO certification of the sustainability of the raw materials, probably within a couple of months, alongside the renewal of our GMP certification, we will be ready for the IFFO certificate, which covers sustainability, traceability and production conditions, concludes Hans Otto Sørensen.
