The eleventh Holland Fisheries Event is scheduled to take place in Urk in the 2nd-3rd October, and the organisers expect to go ahead with the event, subject to national policy.
‘The organisers takes seriously their responsibilities with regard to the COVID-19 crisis and will, depending on national policy, and if required at the time, comply with the safety rules and the 1.5-metre rule on the exhibition floor,’ the organising committee states.
With extra pavilions on the exhibition floor there will be room for more than 115 exhibitors this year.
‘The Flynth pavilion has been fully booked, as well as the sought-after B and D tent pavilion and the C pavilion where VCU and business relations will present themselves,’ said project manager Paula van der Woude.
‘Despite the uncertain times in this corona crisis, we see a continuing demand for stand space on the exhibition floor. We still have stand space available in the E pavilion and will also be able to create extra stand space.’
The fair offers national and international exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their latest products and services to a wide audience, providing a place to network, strengthen relationships and work together on future-proof innovations.
Holland Fisheries Event is organised on behalf of Stichting Visserijdagen Urk and will take place for the 11th time this year. The event attracts more than 3000 visitors from all parts of the maritime business community, including fishery entrepreneurs, vessel owners, skippers, fishermen, teachers, students, directors, sector representatives, employees of fish auctions and advisers in the field of communication, finance and insurance.
This year’s Holland Fisheries Event will take place 2nd-3rd October, with Friday opening hours from 1100 to 2100, and from from 0900 to 1500 on Saturday. HFE will offer a wide programme in the conference room, including a presentation by Wageningen Marine Research.
