The seventh Holland Fisheries Event, the premier fisheries and maritime trade fair in the Netherlands, is to be officially opened by State Secretary for economic affairs Martijn van Dam on Friday 7th October in Urk.
Stichting Visserijdagen Urk, organiser of the Holland Fisheries Event, is delighted to announce that Martijn van Dam will officially open the 7th fisheries and maritime trade fair. This will take place on Friday morning from 10.30 at the Binnenhof of De Koningshof in Urk. Together with Pieter van Maaren, Mayor of Urk, and Klaas-Jelle Koffeman, Chair of Stichting Visserijdagen Urk, the State Secretary will then meet various leading companies at the trade fair and discuss the current and future interests of the fisheries sector.
The Holland Fisheries Event is a two-day trade fair where over 70 (inter)national exhibitors from the fisheries and maritime sector present their companies and products. The organisers expect in excess of 3000 national and international visitors.
