Europe’s premier inshore fishing exhibition, Skipper Expo International Galway 2012 is sold out yet again, for the 8th year in succession. Over 100 exhibitors will once again be displaying their products and services to fishermen at next year’s show. We will also have our usual outside boatmart displaying vessels with Gerald Smyth, Fitzgerald Marine, O’Sullivan Marine & Anderson Marine confirmed to date. Visitor numbers in 2011 reached in excess of 5,000 visitors from Ireland, Scotland, The Shetlands, Orkney, Chanel Islands, Isle of Man, Sweden, France, Australia.
New at next year’s expo from O’Sullivan Marine, a regular exhibitor to the show, is the the range of Hidea Four Stroke outboard motors. These are a new range of Chinese outboards built to Japanese standards, using parts primarily sourced from the same suppliers that supply Yamaha and Tohatsu. They will also be exhibiting the two stroke and four stroke range of Tohatsu outboards.
The Skipper team who also run the Skipper Expo International Aberdeen are set for another busy show in 2012. Building on the success of the first expo, we are at present planning our various sales trips to ensure another sell out. Dates are June 8th & 9th, 2012, AECC, Aberdeen, Scotland.
