With just a few months to go before the Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 opens its doors in Aberdeen, this key event once again brings together every sector of the commercial fishing industry, reaffirming its position as one of Europe’s leading fishing exhibitions.
Sponsored by the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation and Peterhead Port Authority, Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 has something to offer for everyone fromfrom inshore operators and creel fishermen to pelagic skippers, shipyards and seafood processors. The Expo offers a comprehensive platform for business, innovation and industry connection. With over 160 companies now confirmed and six vessels set to be displayed inside the exhibition hall, the 2026 event promises a diverse and fully representative showcase of vessels, equipment, services and technology.

‘Scottish Skipper Expo is designed for the entire industry. Whether you operate a small inshore vessel or are involved in large-scale pelagic operations, the Expo provides direct access to trusted suppliers, leading shipyards and the latest innovations,’ said The Skipper’s commercial fishing manager Sharon Boyle, commenting on the scope and scale of this year’s event.
‘With more than 160 exhibitors and six vessels on display, 2026 promises to be one of our strongest editions yet. It is a key date in the fishing calendar and simply not one to miss.’
This year brings a significant Danish presence, reflecting the close ties between Scotland and Denmark within the pelagic and wider fishing sectors. Confirmed Danish exhibitors include Atlantic Shipping, FF Skagen, Hundested Propeller, Jens Berg Shipping, JMC Limited, Karstensens Shipyard, Nordsøtrawl, Port of Hirtshals, Scandic Pelagic and Thyborøn Doors.
