A fishing vessel was towed to Pwllheli harbour by the town’s all weather RNLI lifeboat on Saturday afternoon after its engine overheated.
The RNLI lifeboat, Lilly and Vincent Anthony, was launched soon after midday to assist the 15 metre Brixham registered scalloper Bon Accord, which had broken down four miles south of Pwllheli’s Gimblet Rock.
The vessel, with two people on board was brought alongside the marina’s quay by the RNLI lifeboat. The town’s fire engine also stood by.
