A contract to deliver its water treatment solutions to two live fish carriers that will operate in the aquaculture industry has been concluded by Norwegian Greentech.
The contract with the as yet-unnamed customer is reported to be worth over NoK20 million.‘
We have delivered our water treatment technologies to more than 800 vessels worldwide and more than 30 systems for water treatment on board live fish carriers, so this is a well-known segment for us,’ said Norwegian Greentech’s SVP commercial Børge Gjelseth.
‘This technology can also be applied to land-based aquaculture, which is why it is encouraging to see increased activity in the maritime industry and within land-based aquaculture.’
Norwegian Greentech is a supplier of ballast water treatment systems and other systems for purification of water for use in the aquaculture industry and in the maritime sector.
