Norwegian fishing boat goes on Fire

The fishing trawler The Keltic, with a crew of 13 on board, raised the alarm after a fire broke out in her engine room just before 1000bst.
A Coastguard Rescue Helicopter from Shetland, a RNLI All-weather lifeboat and a Fisheries protection Vessel all raced to the scene, 30 miles east of Lerwick.
The trawler’s automatic fire system is understood to have brought the blaze under control. N
Coastguards said there were no reports of any injuries and the trawler was being towed in Lerwick Harbour.
