The third NAS conference in 2008 was again a great success, with some 550 seafood professionals from 26 countries registering to hear leading industry figures present their candid perspectives on the outlook, challenges and opportunities in the industry.
This international professional conference focuses on high-quality seafood from the North Atlantic. Top speakers will address issues relating to seafood finance and trends in markets and stocks.
Ministerial opening: Norway’s minister of fisheries will again be invited to open the conference as was the case in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Top event
The 2009 conference will expand the international programme, with expert speakers/top players from the fishing and seafood industry, international tradeexporters, politics, food retailing, research institutes, exporters, importers and distributors.
This meeting is being organised as a two days event, providing delegates with plenty of time to mingle and meet other delegates and business contacts.
The conference has been developed in close cooperation with Nordea bank, ABG Sundal Collier and the Norwegian Seafood Export Council (EFF). A big reception for delegates will be held after the conference.
