Scheduled for completion and delivery later this year, the 79-metre, 15.50-metre breadth Voyager is now at an advanced stage of internal outfitting and into the final phase of completion and equipment testing.
Voyager will be the largest vessel in the Talley’s Group fleet, designed to operate on a variety of species while working to the highest current standards of energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, operational safety and crew comfort.
The design process focused on minimising fuel consumption and emissions, optimising energy utilisation and the use of selective and environmentally friendly fishing technologies. Sophisticated on-board processing systems that have been developed to optimise product quality from capture to final distribution.
The hydrodynamic design of the hull and the optimisation of its lines have been specifically implemented to guarantee excellent seakeeping and high operational efficiency.
For the Nodosa yard, the Voyager order represents a milestone in its internationalisation strategy and in consolidating its position as a leading builder of high-tech and highly customised fishing vessels.
