One of the Ervik Group’s longliners that has operated in Norway is now at the Norse Shipyard in Turkey for a major refit, ahead of a new role.

Vestliner has been part of the Ervik Group fleet since 2016, operating in Norway as a key part of the company’s activities, and many of the Ervik crews started their careers as trainess on board Vestliner.
Now this veteran longliner is in the middle of an extensive refit, with its 47.50-metre length increased to 62.50 metres and a new factory deck to be installed at the Norse Shipyard in Turkey. Skipskompetanse has provided class drawings, clarifications, production drawings and project management, and will continue to provide follow-up attention while the lengthening is carried out at Norse Shipyard in Turkey.
With the refit complete, it will become Argos Froyanes, and will be transferred to Ervik Ocean.
