As well as supplying winch systems for the new factory trawlers being built at Severnaya Verf in St Petersburg for Russian fisheries Group Norebo, Naust Marine is also delivering deck cranes.
Working in partnership with Techano A/S, Naust Marine has delivered the first three cranes to be fitted to the first vessels in the series, Kapitan Sokolov and Kapitan Geller. These are part of an overall package of 18 cranes for the new Norebo trawlers.
These are 7t/12m TC1385T, 6t/16m TC1385T and 1.5t/6m TC480T cranes.
The cranes for the Norebo trawlers are each equipped with a separate operator panel. The cranes can also be operated from a portable radio control panel. All controls include full proportional speed control for all crane motions. Each crane comes with its own hydraulic power unit, starters for the electric motor, and remote control units, and are designed for operations down to -30°C.
Each crane is approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and comply with the Russian Technical Regulations on the Safety of Sea Transport Items (ТР-620).
Naust Marine and Techano A/S are in full production, working towards the completion and delivery of the next shipment of marine telescopic boom cranes and other deck machinery for these vessels.
