Skipper Lars Kajgaard, Strandby, takes delivery of the 22 meter long newbuilding from the Vestværftet in Hvide Sande, Denmark.
Skipper Lars Kajgaard are very happy with his new vessel, Lars had previously owned and operated the old FN 436 out of Strandby, the new boat replace the old boat which he has had since 2004.
We have desired to optimize our fisheries, and being able to offer our crew a better comparison, it would in relation to the proceeds become too expensive to invest in the old boat, and we therefore chose a new construction from the Vestværft instead.
Lars Kajgaard is only 30 years old, and expects to take part in the Danish fishery for many years and looks the new vessel as a long-term investment, and very pleased to get started with fishing
