On the first day of the week Monday August 30 saw 15 boats land 5,220 boxes of white fish which sold at cod large £2.40-£3.30, medium £2.20-£2.80, Haddock large £2.50-£3.00, medium £.2.50-£3.00. Whiting £1.60-£2.00, Coley £1.10-£1.30, Lemon Sole £1.00-£5.00, Monkfish £3.50-£3.80, Megrims £1.50-£5.00, Plaice 70p-£1.50, Hake £1.50-£3.00 ling £1.70, and Squid £1.70-£4.00
Trawlers landed Denebula, Celestial Dawn, Adorne, Acorn, Moremma, Daisy, Golden Splendour, Karmarra, Atlantic Challenge, Seagull, Serene, Renown, Aalskere, Amity, Arkh Angell.
The following day Tuesday saw only 4 boats land 2912 boxes of white fish which sols at Large Cod £2.50-£3.50, Medium £2.50-£3.50, Haddock Large £3.20, Medium £3.20, Whiting £2.00-£2.20, Monkfish ££.50-£4.00, Witches £1.00-£1.50 and Squid £1,.00-£3.00. Coley £1.20, There were no sake of Lemon Sole, Megrims, Plaice or Hake,
Boats landed Fear Not, Arcturus, Favonius, and Fruitfull Bough.
On the Wednesday September 1st 7 trawlers landed 3470 boxes of white fish which sold at Large Cod £3.50-£4.40, Medium £3.00-£3.50, Large Haddock £2.80-3.00, medium £3.00-£3.50, Whiting £1.80-£2.00, Hake £2.00-£3.00, Monkfish £3.50-£4.00. And Squid at £20 a box. There were no sale of Coley, Megrims, Ling, or Lemon Sole.
Boats landed were Kiroan, Crystal Tide, Crystal River, Faithful, Acheive, Attain, and Castlewood.
On the Thursday 12 trawlers landed 6070 boxes of white fish which sold at market for Cod Large £3.00-£3.80, Medium £2.50-£3.00, Haddock Large £2.20-£2.74, medium £2.75, Whiting £1.70-£2.00, Monkfish £3.50-£4.00, Lemon Sole £1.50-£5.00, Coley £1,00-£1.50, Megrims £2.00-£5.00, Plaice 60p-£1.50, Hake £2.00-£3.10, Witches £1.00-£2.00 and ling £1.50-£1.70.
Trawlers landed. Sunrise, Rosemount, Our lass, Proliflic, Acorn ,Courageous, Ocean Dawn, Content, Shalimar, Sustain, Tranquillity and Gleaner.
The last market of the week Friday saw 17 trawlers land 5381 boxes of white fish which sold for Cod Large £2.50-£3.80, Medium £2.50-£3.00, Haddock large £2.50-£3.00, Medium £2.30-£2.75, Whiting £1.60-£2.00, Lemon sole £1.50-£5.00, Monkfish £3.50-£4.00, Coley £1.10-£1.50, Megrims £2.00-£6.00, Plaice 60p-£1.50, Hake £1.50-£3.00, Witches £1.00-£1.50, and Ling £1.50-£2.00.
Trawlers landed Summer Dawn, Golden Gain, Vela, Achieve, Our Guide, Ocean Trust, Prospect, Ocean Reaper, Renown, Constant Friend, Ocean Harvest, Harvester, Kareann, Crystal River, Faithful, Castlewood and Attain.
At Peterhead market there were landings from 55 trawlers with a total of23,053 boxes of white fish landed for the week. There also 12 pelagic landings.
At Fraserburgh market 150 boats landed a total of 3,797 boxes of white fish which sold for fair prices.
At Ullapool there was another decent week with Five Scottish Trawlers landing 143 tonnes of white fish, two Spanish trawlers landing 48 tonnes and two Scottish crabbers taking 16.5 tonnes of brown crabs.
At Pittenweem harbour , Fife the local prawn fleets reported good catches and fair prices.
