The 16th Annual European Seafood Exposition (ESE) takes place in Brussels between Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24 April. Aker Seafoods has its own stand at the exhibition, where the company and its products are presented.
According to Innovation Norway, ESE is considered the world’s largest and most important seafood exhibition. Innovation Norway has reserved approximately 1 000 square feet for the Norwegian pavilion where over 55 Norwegian companies are present.
The main focus of the ESE this year is health advantages of having seafood as part of a daily diet, as well as how to achieve an environmental international focus on sustainable management of fisheries resources.
In 2007, nearly 24 000 guests from 140 countries visited the exhibition. Seafood buyers and sellers from all over the world are present at the exhibition along with over 1 600 companies from close to 80 countries are represented at ESE.
