The Seawork International exhibition takes place in Southampton next week, opening on Tuesday 13th and ending on the 15th.
Seawork has grown over the years into one of the largest events of its kind anywhere in Europe –and some of us remember being at the very first one al those years ago… While it’s not a fishing industry exhibition, or promoted as one, there’s generally a strong showing of fishing people from along the south coast of England, as many of the suppliers taking part in this mainly commercial marine event also have an involvement with the fishing business.
According to the organisers, 7500 maritime professionals can be expected to find their way to Seawork International next week, where there are the usual halls decked with stands showcasing products and services of companies from 72 countries, plus a busy quayside area for the floating exhibits that always attract plenty of attention.
As well as three days of 600+ stands and the 70 boats at the pontoons, Seawork also offers a sector-specific conference across all three days and a new Awards event devised to showcase European commercial marine’s pioneers and achievers.
