UK seafood industry body Seafish is partnering with government departments to put on a show at Seafood Expo North America in Boston this month.
In partnership with Defra and the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Seafish is hosting a 93 square metre pavilion for UK seafood businesses, ramping up on its 2023 presence at this event. The first major international seafood trade show of the calendar year, Seafood Expo North America takes place 10-12th March 2024 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This is North America’s largest seafood trade show, attracting seafood buyers from every market category including retail, foodservice and processing. Suppliers from over 50 countries are expected to exhibit at the show.
The Seafish pavilion is located across the aisle from the Seafood from Scotland pavilion, creating a strong UK seafood presence at this important event.
The UK pavilion will host an open communal lounge for attending UK seafood companies to hold meetings, as well as a live kitchen hosted by chef CJ Jackson.
The communal meeting facility on the UK pavilion provides options for business meetings, with representatives from Seafish, Defra and the Department for Business and Trade on hand with insights into the North American market. All UK seafood businesses are welcome to use the facilities.
