The organiser of Skipper Expo in Bristol are delighted with the high number of stand bookings so far for the event, with many more companies anticipated to sign up over the coming weeks.
According to organiser Mara Media, well over 60 stands have been sold so far with many companies expressing their enthusiasm for the new exhibiting venue of the Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol, which offers easy access for exhibitors and visitors.
Among those attending for the first time is Todd Fish Tech, who design and manufacture shellfish storage systems including the multi-award winning Lobster Pod.
‘At Bristol we’ll be bringing a 100kg capacity Lobster Pod shellfish storage system to display. It will be the first time we have exhibited outside of Scotland and we hope to invite customers and potential customers from the south coast and Wales to see the Lobster Pod,’ said Errin Todd of Todd Fish Tech.
‘We have a number of customers in the area already, including New Wave Seafood and Mermaid Seafoods and it will be great to catch up with them. We’ll be able to show how the Lobster Pod works and how it can help fishermen and merchants to achieve optimum conditions for their catch, adding value and improving quality. We are really looking forward to this opportunity and are hopeful we can sell our display Lobster Pod again just like we did at the recent Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen. Anyone who is interested in a one-to-one meeting with our fish tech engineer and inventor of the Lobster Pod, marine biologist Dr Keith Todd, should get in touch before the show.’
Also exhibiting is MarShip UK, with the company’s Peter Weide commenting that MarShip UK is very excited to be attending this year’s Skipper Expo as it returns to Bristol.
MarShip UK is well-known for the MFP fuel separator, and now, with a patent pending, they will be showcasing their new diesel water separator that is supplied with an integral pump to remove water from inaccessible tanks along with our ever popular DieselAid® range that includes OEM approved DieselAid® B, their fast acting Diesel Bug Biocide.
The Ashton Gate Stadium, which is located in the south-west of the city, has recently undergone a major refurbishment with fantastic onsite facilities that include free parking and Wi-Fi. Bristol is seen as a great exhibiting venue because it is easy to access from several key fishing areas of England and Wales.
‘We are delighted with the strong levels of stand bookings so far and Skipper Expo Int. Bristol 2017 is shaping up to be a brilliant show. I would urge any companies thinking about attending to get in touch with me now, so that we can accommodate their requirements,’ said Sharon Boyle of show organiser Mara Media.
Skipper Expo Int. Bristol 2017 will be held at the Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th September. Opening times are Thursday, 10am to 5pm, Friday 10am to 4pm.
