It is informed that based on the resolution of the General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture Council the fishing prohibition of octopus extends from 15 September to 31 October. Besides this ban, the government offers a schedule of port entry and exit to the fleet of lesser gear targeting octopus fishing, contending that this measure “contributes to the development and execution of the ordinance of said fishery.”
