First the Icelandic football team secured its place at the World Cup championships to be held in Russia next year. At the same time a Russian version of the Skaginn 3X website, Skaginn3x.ru was launched at the AgroProdMash exhibition in Moscow.
The new website is part of Skaginn 3X’s commitment to have a stronger presence in the Russian market. This is the fourth event that Skaginn 3X and sister company Knarr Maritime attend in Russia this year.
‘All four exhibitions and conferences have proved that there is strong interest for solutions from both Skaginn 3X and Knarr and the market seems to be very open to new processing possibilities,’ said Skaginn 3X’s head of sales and marketing Jón Birgir Gunnarsson.
‘Skaginn 3X took its current shape when two companies, Skaginn hf and 3X Technology ehf, joined forces, making Skaginn 3X. This is a company with strong roots in the Icelandic seafood sector and the ability to work on an international level,’ he said.
Knarr is a consortium set up by Icelandic companies Skaginn 3X, Nautic, Kælismiðjan Frost, Brimrún, Naust Marine and Skipatækni ehf. All of the companies behind Knarr are extensive experience in the design, development, construction and sales of equipment for fishing and fish processing.
‘Our strength lies in our innovative company culture and our dedication to work closely with our customers to meet their requirements, offering them solutions that brings value to their business,’ Jón Birgir Gunnarsson said.
