Seafish is one of the sponsors of the 2008 North Atlantic Seafood Conference which is being held in Oslo, 4 – 9 March. Building on its successful presence at the conference in 2007, Seafish is presenting and chairing a session on business responses to the environmental challenges facing the industry.
This key session will be chaired by Seafish Chief Executive, John Rutherford, with Phil MacMullen, Seafish Head of Environment, speaking about supply and future challenges. Angus Garrett of Seafish will be speaking alongside Mike Mitchell of Young’s, using interactive voting technology to capture the views of the audience.
Seafish is holding an invitation-only reception on Wednesday 5 March, hosted by Seafish Chairman, Charles Howeson. A special Pelagic Advisory Committee meeting is being held the day prior to the conference, with the Norwegian pelagic industry hosting a dinner that evening.

The third annual event sets out to attract decision makers, professional buyers and key personnel from the world’s seafood industry, combining a major international conference and study tours to important industry destinations.
