Fish ‘n’ Rosti is the perfect meal in one – a piece of MSC certified Alaskan Pollock topped with creamy mustard sauce with a twist of Madagascar pepper and a potato rosti slice. Everything is kept together by a light breaded coating. This is an extremely convenient frozen product to prepare (cook in the oven straight from frozen for 30 minutes) and provides a perfect portion control menu option. The Fish ‘n’ Rosti also comes with two other varieties of sauce – Spicy Tomato and Lemon & Dill.
Seafood Prix d’Elite judging panel chairman, Peter Joyner, marketing director of Elior, said “This product is a meal in itself that tastes exceptionally good. In fact it’s unusual to find such a good tasting product in the convenience sector – all the judges were very impressed by it”.
Jan Soinjoki, Royal Greenland’s product development manager was delighted “this is a real accolade for our product development team that continues to come up with tasty and appealing product concepts for both the food service sector and retail.”
“The seafood industry sometimes has a reputation for being slightly conservative when it comes to product innovation which is why the Seafood Prix d’Elite is so important in driving the industry forward” says Royal Greenland’s CEO Flemming Knudsen. “It throws down the gauntlet each year to both large and small players in the seafood industry to create new products that have both a commercial and consumer appeal. As a company committed to seafood, we are happy to take up that challenge”.
The Seafood Prix d’Elite is a major event recognising the best new seafood products in the world: Held only once a year, this important competition brings together seafood companies from across the globe providing them with an opportunity to present new products that are judged on taste, packaging, market potential, convenience, nutritional value and originality
