Icelandic fishing and processing company Skinney-Thinganes has placed an order for a new pelagic trawler/purse seiner.
Due to be delivered by Karstensens Skibsværft in Skagen in April 2024, the new vessel will have a 75.40 metre overall length and a 16.50 metre beam.
It is designed for a 2400 cubic metre RSW carrying capacity, and to have a minimal draft of around 6.50 metres.
