When this year’s DanFish exhibition opens its doors in Aalborg on 7th October, a strong group of Danish suppliers will be ready to present offerings designed to contribute to more efficient and sustainable commercial fishing industry.
81 Danish companies will exhibit at the Pavilion of Denmark, organized by the Danish Export Association, wher evisitors will find a wide range of suppliers offering everything from fishing gear to processing equipment.
‘DanFish is, and has always been, the place to be if you want to meet the most important Danish and international players in the fishing industry. That’s why we always see strong support for the Danish pavilion, and once again this year we can announce that it’s fully booked,’ said Martin Winkel Lilleøre, Head of Fish Tech at the Danish Export Association.
Denmark’s strengths are built on decades of experience developing specialised equipment for both fishing and processing – from precision instruments that improve sorting and quality, to energy-efficient pumps and cooling systems that ensure longer shelf life and lower energy consumption. These systems directly support the global agenda for more responsible fisheries, ensuring better utilisation and minimal environmental impacts.
‘With a combination of innovation, quality, and flexibility, Danish suppliers are key partners for the global fishing industry in its efforts to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 12 on responsible consumption and production, and Goal 14 on life below water,’ Martin Winkel Lilleøre said.
‘Visitors at DanFish 2025 can discover the latest Danish technologies at the Pavilion of Denmark, where companies are ready to share knowledge and explore new collaborations to help secure a sustainable future for the fishing industry worldwide.’
DanFish takes place 7-9th October 2025 at the Aalborg Congress & Culture Center.
