The company informed that ONC is really a big supplier of MEG-3(R) brand Omega-3 EPA/DHA from fish oil to the food and dietary supplement industries is pleased to announce their capacity expansion. The US$19 million investment secures ONC’s position as the largest fish oil manufacturer in the world, pointed out the company.
It is said that the expansion of their world class molecular distillation plant in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia, Canada means a 100 percent rise in MEG-3(R) concentrate capacity. Through their joint venture collaboration with Alicorp Corporation in Peru, to build a second fish oil manufacturing plant, they have realized a 200 percent capacity increase in their MEG-3(R) 30 percent fish oil.
It is true that the capacity expansion reinforces ONC’s position as the world leader in the fish oil industry. Robert Orr of the company said that with the exponential growth in consumer demand for Omega-3 food and supplement products the company had to be ahead of the game.
