Emke Group and Rose Poultry are ready to work on a unique joint venture in Al Ain. Yousuf Ali MA, managing director of the Emke Group and Arne Lolholm Jensen, director of Denmark’s Rose Poultry have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the project. Ali informed that Emke is one of the leading processed meat manufacturers with five units in India, it is their first such venture in the UAE and they are immensely pleased to tie up with such great brand as Rose, who not only enjoy huge popularity among the local consumers in UAE but also follow the most stringent quality control practices.
According to Ali they are not going to leave any stones unturned to make this a model production facility, which will not only cater to the UAE markets but also to the entire Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) area. It is said that the new project will operate as per the certification standards of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) in the production of value-added meat products from chicken, beef, lamb and seafood.
According to Jenson this is their first processing unit outside the Europe and they are delighted to partner with Emke Group with whom they share a long standing business relationship and they think this venture will further strengthen their market share in this region.
