Seafood exports in August topped NOK 3 billion, an increase of NOK 635 million or 26% compared to August last year. This is the 8th month in a row in which the total value of seafood exports has topped NOK 3 billion, according to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Export Council. This year to date, seafood exports total NOK 26.9 billion, up by NOK 4.3 billion.
Norwegian salmon export has registered good growth, a rise of 39 percent in August from last year.
