The 10th anniversary Skipper Expo Int. Galway fisheries show, which will be held on 7 and 8 March 2014, has received a major boost following confirmation that Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) will once again sponsor this milestone event.
The blue mussel sectors in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland supported by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development NI, and the Department of Agriculture Food and Marine have been MSC certified as a sustainable and well-managed fishery.

Europe’s premier inshore fishing exhibition, Skipper Expo International Galway 2012 is sold out yet again, for the 8th year in succession. Over 100 exhibitors will once again be displaying their products and services to fishermen at next year’s show. We will also have our usual outside boatmart displaying vessels with Gerald Smyth, Fitzgerald Marine, O’Sullivan Marine & Anderson Marine confirmed to date. Visitor numbers in 2011 reached in excess of 5,000 visitors from Ireland, Scotland, The Shetlands, Orkney, Chanel Islands, Isle of Man, Sweden, France, Australia.
