Korean company Korea Trading & Industries Co has signed an agreement with Kamchatka-based company Gorod 415 for the construction of an onshore fish processing and can production factory.
Russexporter reports that the deal was signed at the recent Second Eastern Economic Forum earlier this month, with the agreement signed at a ceremony attended by both Pak Ro Bek, Korea’s ambassador to Russia, and Vladimir Galitsin, a Deputy Chairman of the Kamchatka Territory Government.
The total investment in the venture is reported to be $10 million, of which Gorod 415 intends to invest $3 million, and the investment is going into the Kamchatka advanced social and economic development region.
