Infotology will be launching at Fishing 2010 a range of marine computer systems, designed for optimum performance and reliability in marine applications.
The idea behind the innovative new marine computers came about when company director Linda Graham was sailing around the UK coastline using her laptop for navigation. The experience led her to the conclusion that Infotology could produce more reliable marine computer systems.
Over the past three years, the company carefully researched components and designs and are now producing computers, which have a MTBF (mean time before failure) well in excess of the expected life of the system and which require no moving parts.
Linda Graham said: “We are now ready to bring to the market a range of computers designed for optimum performance and reliability for marine applications including navigation, CCTV and communications which we shall be launching at the Fishing 2010 Exhibition in Glasgow.
