Havyard increases focus on life cycle service and establish new division for After sales & Services
Havyard Ship Services was appointed responsible for coordinating the knowledge within Havyard companies and building up own knowledge where it could not be found within the system. In addition to supporting internal processes and projects Havyard Ship Services has been very successful in delivering services to Havyard’s customers’ vessels in operation.
As the activity towards vessels in operation and the interest for Havyard Ship Services’ products has increased significantly it is decided to establish a new division for After Sales and Services within Havyard Group. This division will focus on strengthening and developing After sales products, based on utilizing Havyards own knowledge and long term cooperation with well renowned suppliers.
Many of the companies within Havyard Group have today products within the After sales segment.
The division for After Sales and Services will coordinate these products and services in order to better serve our customers within offshore and fisheries. The division will have high attention on good solutions adapted to each customer’s needs.
The After Sales and Services division will offer products and services within:
· Project management, supervision and inspection
· Repairs, conversions and classification jobs world wide
· Spare parts
· On-site service
· Integrated service agreements
· Purchasing services
· Critical components on stock
· Shipbuilding technology
· Warranty handling
· Maintenance system
· Technical assistance
Essential in delivering these services is the web portal Havyard Life Cycle PortalTM which makes communication and follow-up of each case easier and more efficient.
Tor Leif Mongstad as senior vice president and Håvard Notøy as general manager for Havyard Ship Services will have main responsibility for developing the new division and the services it offers.
