With haddock nearly half of the previous day’s market, the larger selections of whitefish has a firm demand from buyers. With gutted haddocks sold for £114-£171 per 57kg at the Monday morning market and whiting at £86-£114, round whiting at £57-£7 4 an round haddock at £31-£46 per Kg box.
12 trawlers landed 4,423 boxes on Monday with large cod selling at £2.40-£2.80, medium £2.20-£2.30, Haddock large £2.50-£3.20, Medium.

On Tuesday. smallest market in several years with only one trawler landing and total of 618 boxes. With Large cod selling at £3-£3.40, large Haddock £2.50-£2.60, whiting £1.40, coley £1.10-£1-20, mergrim £2-60-£6.

Landing on Wednesday faired better with eight trawlers landing 4,798 boxes. Cod sold at £2.60-£3.40, Medium ££2-£2.90, Haddock large £2.80-£3.20, Whiting £1.60-£1.80,Monkfish ££3-£4.10, Plaice 60p-£1 Hake 60p-£1.10.

The following day Thursday 11 trawlers landed with a total of 3,199 boxes. With cod large selling at £3-£3.60, medium £2.50-£3.30, Haddock large £3-£3.40 Medium £3-£3-40, Whiting £1.30-£2, Monkfish £3-£3-60, Coley £1-£1-20, Plaice £70p-£1-50, Mergrim £2-£5 and Plaice £70p-£1-50.

The last market of the week Friday produced 12 trawlers landing 4,933 boxes with Large cod selling at £2.50-£3, medium £2.20-£2-70, haddock large/medium/ £2.50-£2-90, whiting £1.10-£1.50, Monkfish £3.20-£4.40, Coley £1, plaice 60p-£1, and Mergrim £1.20-£2.50.
Boats landed Ocean Dawn, Courageous, Achieve, Shalimar, Content, Onward, Beryl, Ocean Trust, Golden Splender, Fear Not, Transcend DFC,and Norland.
There were 44 direct landings at Peterhead with a total of 17,971 boxes of whitefish. There were also five Pelagic vessels landing Herring.
At Fraserburgh for the week 79 vessels landed a total f 5,257 boxes of whitefish .
At Ullapool on the West Coast of Scotland it was very quiet week with two Spanish liners/netters landing 36.3 tonnes (726 boxes) of white fish and Scottish Crabbers landing 23 tonnes of brown crabs. The local fishing fleet reported steady fishing.
At Buckie Harbour one boat Georgia Dawn land 143 bags of Clams.
