The new service centre just 130 metres from the quayside in the Tromsø port area places the company close to its customers, and represents a further step in enhancing service operations in Norway’s northern region.
‘Establishing our presence in Tromsø allows us to serve our clients even more directly with spare parts, service, and upgrades to ensure reliable processing operations,’ said group service director Johan Schwerin.
Tromsø is already familiar to Carsoe’s service engineers, who have provided consistent support in Tromsø for two to three days each month for years. With the new service centre, they will now have a permanent base from which to operate.
With an experienced and dedicated team, a comprehensive range of services, and a well-stocked inventory of parts for KM, Holmek, and other Carsoe products, the service centre will be able to deliver swift and reliable service supporting the growing base of vessels offloading at the port.
Carsoe aims to provide swift local support to the Norwegian fishing fleet regardless of equipment manufacturer.
‘Service at Carsoe is about being a trusted service partner for fishermen. We provide reliable service to ensure optimal performance every day,’ Johan Schwerin said.
To celebrate the opening, Carsoe is inviting customers and partners to an opening reception on 26th November, 1400-1700, at Terminalgata 60.
