Baader is set to acquire a majority holding in Icelandic tech company Skaginn3X, subject to conditions and regulatory approval.
‘We are happy to announce this joint venture and look forward to jointly offering our customers an even broader scope of superior solutions over the entire processing line,’ said Petra Baader, executive chair of Baader.
Skaginn 3X CEO Ingólfur Árnason remains in his post, supported by the current management team.
‘The combination of the long-standing Baader engineering practices and our deep roots and expertise in Icelandic fisheries will boost our joint development and innovation,’ he said.
Following completion, a joint sales company will co-ordinate global sales activities with the existing Baader infrastructure, integrating the Skaginn 3X sales force.
