Vladivostok takes top spot

The port of Vladivostok has increased its throughput of seafood products landed by 29% compared to the same period in 2017, taking the position as Russia’s top fish port as 157,700 tonnes of fish have been transshipped across its quays in the first seven months of this year.

Canadian government invests in Newfoundland and Labrador small craft harbours

Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, and Ken McDonald, Member of Parliament for Avalon announced that the Government of Canada is investing over C$12 million over two years in small craft harbour improvements and transfer projects in Avalon.
