Norwegian Veritas has re-certified TripleNine in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001, GMP+ and MSC-coc.
The audit, which was carried out on 16-18 August, went well and only gave cause for minor comments. The new certificates are valid for three years, provided the company implements the annual follow-up audits.
TripleNine’s management system now covers the following certified standards:
ISO 9001: concerning quality control
ISO 14001: concerning environmental management
EN 16001: concerning energy management
GMP+: concerning best production practice
MSC – chain of custody: concerning traceability in the supply chain
IFFO-RS: concerning responsibility in the supply chain
Regular assessment of standards
– This might look like a lot of standards, but each certificate has a specific purpose, explains Quality and Environment Manager Henrik Sørensen. – Some certificates are customer-related, while others are intended to ensure that the company continuously improves the individual target areas.
– The need for and usefulness of the individual standards are regularly assessed, which has in fact resulted in our decision not to continue EMAS certification, Henrik Sørensen says.
