The plan is for TripleNine to try to sell the South African fishmeal already now.
– However, of course we need to know the qualities of the product before we market it in order to vouch for it, emphasises Production Manager Christian Bisgaard. – If we claim that the product has particular qualities, this has to be true. After all, we are known for our product guarantee.
– We know that it has already been possible to increase the protein content of the South African fishmeal from 60-62 per cent to 68-69 per cent after the newly installed equipment from Esbjerg was put into operation and we expect to reach around 70 per cent, explains Christian Bisgaard.
However, he points out that the South African factory still needs to get the production completely under control before the final product is obtained. Although the evaporator from Esbjerg has just been installed, the entire water system in the production for instance needs to be reconstructed.
