FFAW/CAW President Earle McCurdy has advised shrimp harvesters to hold off on fishing until the Union holds meetings with the various shrimp fleets in the province, starting with a major rally on the Northern Peninsula tomorrow morning.
He made the comment after the Standing Fish Price-Setting Panel ruled in favor of a price offer from the Association of Seafood Producers setting the summer price of shrimp at an average of 37.1 cents per pound.
